Griddle 101: Stuffed French Toast Published 3 days ago • 1 min read
PB & J French Toast!
Hello Friends,
I tried two stuffed French toast ideas on the griddle this week—PB&J and a s’mores version—and wanted to share how it went.
Quick notes:
Used Aunt Millie’s Bake House Brioche — great for French toast
PB&J is simple and always works
S’mores version = Nutella + sliced marshmallows (use more than you think)
Dip each sandwich ~5 seconds per side
Cook at 375–400°F, about 4–5 minutes per side
Rotate them around the griddle so everything cooks evenly
What I learned:
One marshmallow doesn’t cut it — go heavy
PB&J turns out super gooey
S’mores has awesome flavor but needs extra mallows
Powdered sugar on top is perfect
Syrup is optional
Watch my video to see which one was my favorite.
I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and gets to spend time with friends and family.

A few folks have asked about the cutting board I used in the video — It’s handmade and fits perfectly behind the griddle. You can grab one from masseywoodcraft.com and get 10% off with code Johnny at checkout: 👉 Check it out here
