Good Morning Friends,
Spring is here!!!!!!!! Well, I don’t know for sure, but it’s 60° in Ohio and I’m ready to get outside and start cooking regularly.
Here’s a roundup of my 6 favorite griddle accessories after 5 years of owning a griddle. Honestly, you really don’t need much more than this to cook on a griddle. I have tons of accessories because I have a problem… but these are the six I actually use the most.

2-in-1 Oil Bottle & Sprayer This lets you spray or pour any oil you want. I like it because Blackstone doesn’t recommend aerosol sprays, and the glass bottle won’t melt like the plastic squeeze bottles I’ve ruined on the side shelf.
Infrared Thermometer (with Probe) This helps you cook by actual temperature, not by guessing with the knobs. I still use it all the time to check the griddle surface and the internal temp of meat. Get 10% off by using code Johnny10 (with minimum spend $30)
Small Wire Rack I keep this on the griddle to move food off the heat so it can rest without continuing to cook. Great for bacon, buns, pancakes, or steaks.
Griddle Dome Creates a little oven on the griddle. I use it mostly for steaming veggies or helping potatoes cook through.
Smash Burger Press You can smash burgers with spatulas, but a press makes it easier to get them thin and crispy.
Wide Griddle Scraper Great for cleaning the griddle fast, and it also works for flipping food. One tool that does both jobs.
If you’re new to griddling and want 101 tested griddle recipes, my eBook covers everything from seasoning and temperature control to easy recipes for beginners.
Have a great weekend and enjoy the warmer weather.
Johnny
