Don't Make This On Your Griddle
Overrated and Underrated Griddle RecipesHello Friends, I've had my griddle for four years now and after 250 videos and probably 300 cooks I've learned a lot. Most of the time I try to give you tips and tricks to help improve your cooking. However, there are some recipes that I don't think you should even try. And then there're some recipes that don't get a lot of views, but I think are fantastic. I'll go over them below. Don't Make! Don't make pizza on your griddle. I've tried it a few times, but it just never turns out right. You need indirect heat and a lot of it to make a good pizza. The griddle simply isn't made for this, but because pizza is awesome everyone wants to try it. Well, learn from my mistakes and stick to the stuff that the griddle is good at. Overrated The smash taco was not that great in my opinion. It blew up last summer and I understand why, the visual of a smashburger with a torilla on it is pretty cool. It's a very innovative way to make smash burger without needing parchment paper. My main issue was that everyone did it like a burger, specifically like a Big Mac. So that's how I did it and it just was weird. I wanted a bun, I wanted a hamburger with the Big Mac toppings. Some people in the comments said they enjoyed it when they dressed it like a taco rather than a burger. So instead of lettuce, pickeles and 1000 island dressing try sour cream, salsa, and cheese. Underrated Finally this recipe is in the free ebook you got when you signed up for the newsletter, but I think it's totally underrated. The Italian Sausage Hoagie is fantastic! Now everyone knows Italian sausages with peppers and onions are good, but what takes it over the top on the griddle is the cheese and marinara. Especially now that it's tailgate time for football season, you gotta make yourself one of these. Hopefully I save you some time and you avoid these recipes that aren't good on the griddle.
